ANCIENT PRACTICEKINGDOM PURPOSE

A two-year formation pathway for disciples, worshipers, and leaders who desire to be shaped in the way of Jesus through theological depth, spiritual practice, and hands-on ministry apprenticeship.

First cohort begins Spring 2027.

Many people sense a call from God but lack a clear pathway for formation, discernment, theological grounding, and practical ministry development. Covenant School of Ministry exists to provide that pathway.

This is not simply a class program. It is a formation journey designed to help students ask deeper questions:

  • Who am I in Christ?

  • What am I called to become?

  • How does my life participate in the mission of God?

CSM is being built as an “ancient-future” school: rigorous enough to be trusted, spiritual enough to be transformative, and practical enough to prepare people for real ministry.

Why Covenant School of Ministry?

Our Mission

Covenant School of Ministry exists to form disciples in the way of Jesus by shaping the heart through ancient spiritual practices, renewing the mind through rigorous theological study, and equipping the hands through apprenticeship for the work of the Kingdom and the renewal of all creation

Our Vision

Our vision is to form whole disciples — heart, mind, and hands — who live with theological clarity, spiritual depth, and faithful participation in God’s renewing work in the world.

Three Formation Pillars

This reflects the school’s stated pedagogy of integrating scholastic formation, monastic formation, and apprenticeship formation rather than separating academic, spiritual, and practical learning into different buckets.

HEART
Ancient spiritual practices, prayer, worship, Scripture, silence, and discernment.

MIND
Rigorous biblical and theological study rooted in historic Christian faith.

HANDS
Apprenticeship, mentoring, ministry labs, and applied practice for Kingdom service.

A Two-Year Certificate Pathway

Covenant School of Ministry is being designed as an 18-unit graduate-level certificate pathway completed over two years through traditional Spring and Fall semesters. The full-time pathway is planned around two 2-unit courses per semester, with theology required for all students.

Each 2-unit course is planned around approximately 27–30 contact hours, not including reading, assignments, apprenticeship, and homework.

The first cohort is scheduled to begin in January 2027 with Monday evening classes from 6:00–9:00pm. The proposed Spring 2027 semester runs from January 11 through April 26, 2027.
